The Beal Street Residence is an adolescent group home in our Hingham community for transitional age youth focusing on independent living skills and permanency including family reunification.
This project aims to beautify the home’s outdoor space to create a more welcoming atmosphere for the youth residents to hang out in. We will be doing some light landscaping, including weeding, mulching some flower beds, planting flowers, and improving the backyard patio area.
Landscaping supplies, including mulch and plants, will be provided, but there are limited gardening tools, so please bring one for yourself and another one or two to share – label your tools as well! Garden gloves for yourself will be needed as well. Everyone should wear closed-toed shoes and clothes that they don’t mind getting dirty.
Rain date is August 11th.
