Join us at the Bandstand at the Hingham Harbor to celebrate Juneteenth Freedom Day with free family fun for ALL! We warmly welcome our friends from all neighboring communities to join us for this celebration!
Live musical performances by Booty Vortex , Lovely Hoffman, Troupefall West African Drum and Dance, kids’ bounce house and bounce obstacle course, relay races, face painting, balloon art, a sensory station, delicious food for purchase, a beer garden featuring Brockton Beer Company and more!
There is limited parking adjacent to the Bandstand area; we ask that those who are able please park in the Station Street lot, which is approximately 5 minutes on foot to the event. Click here to view a map.
Schedule of Events
3-4pm: Kids’ activities, adult mingling, tunes by DJ Jeff 2X, vendors, food trucks, beer garden, sensory tent & more
4-4:30pm: Juneteenth Program
- Interfaith blessings
- Performances by singer/songwriter Lovely Hoffman, including Black National Anthem
- Juneteenth Presentation
- Performance by Troupefall West African Drum and Dance
- Announcement of Juneteenth Student Arts Expression Content winners
4:30-6pm: Music & dancing with eleven piece disco and funk band Booty Vortex, bounce houses and some other kids’ activities resume
