Many of us believe in equality, diversity, and inclusion. But how do we stand up for those values in our turbulent world? The Person You Mean to Be is the smart, "semi-bold" person’s guide to fighting for what you believe in. The Hingham Unity Council is pleased to present a "fireside fire pit book chat" with author Dolly Chugh. Read more about the book and Dr. Chugh here.
This is a meeting of the HUC Board (not indiv. committees)
2019 Guggenheim Fellow and New York Times bestselling author Ibram X. Kendi will discuss his renowned book “How to Be an Antiracist” on Monday, July 20 at 7:00 p.m. with Dr. Charlene M. Dukes, president of Prince George’s Community College. Details and registration here.
This meeting will include a discussion of the Superintendent's entry findings from a year long study concerning the Hingham Public Schools.
Calling all High School and College Students! Are you interested in community conversation on racism? Join us to read and discuss Ibram X.
