Race Talk, presented by Scituate United for Action on Equality
Virtual via ZoomA group of panelists from different backgrounds will discuss their lives in Scituate and why they have chosen to raise their children in our town despite the lack of diversity. Our panel will share direct and indirect experiences with racism and prejudice within Scituate as well as fears they have for themselves and their children. You, as audience members will have the opportunity to engage respectfully and ask appropriate questions. The topic of race is awkward and maybe a little bit scary for some people to talk about, we get it. However, Scituate United for Action on Equality believes we must be willing to teach and learn from one another and our experiences if we are ever to grow as an evolved community on the right side of history.
