Tastes of the World/Voices That Inspire: Dan Osborn

Hingham Congregational Church - Hale Fellowship Hall 366 Main Street, Hingham, MA, United States

A new series from the Hingham Unity Council intended to provoke curiosity and conversation. Join us to learn something new & eat something different. The Middle East is often portrayed in America's popular imagination as synonymous with violence and conflict. Determined to see beyond this narrative, Dan Osborn has spent nearly two decades living in and traveling to Jordan, Israel, the Palestinian West Bank, and Lebanon, where he has cultivated relationships and witnessed the humanity that is too often unrepresented. Join us for a delicious Middle Eastern meal prepared by Bo Cafe and then hear Dan share stories from his travels and offer an exploration into the diversity and vibrancy of life across the Middle East. The $25 per person cost of this event includes a full dinner and the speaker. We strongly encourage any individual who would like to attend but finds the cost prohibitive to please email info@hinghamunity.org for a confidential, complimentary ticket.
